August Astronomy Night

Please join us at the Collins Marsh Neustadter Nature Center, 20021 Cty JJ, Reedsville for a guided tour of our night sky by local astronomy enthusiast Al Kluczinske. Highlighting our tour will be the Perseid Meteor shower. Although we’ll have the sturgeon moon brightening our view a bit, we should be able to catch sight of some of the 50-100 meteors per hour streaking by. Maybe we’ll even spot a fireball! Night sky viewing will begin at 9:30pm but feel free to arrive early and enjoy our beautiful pollinator garden in the setting sun.
