Marsh Trail Walk October 31st 9am -11am For our final trail walk of the year we will check out the “Greater Than” Trail. Named for it’s shape– “>”– it heads south following the old “Minnesota Road”, which farmers used when harvesting marsh grass in the early 20th century before the area became a wildlife refuge. The walk then shifts west following the dyke along the north side of the waterway, meeting up with Hwy W. Bring your binoculars, favorite nature apps and dress for the weather. Sturdy shoes, long pants and DEET repellent suggested to ward off ticks and mosquitoes. Meet at the DNR parking lot at 2133 County Hwy W, Reedsville. Careful- the driveway is on a curve. Hope to see you there!
