Our speaker series continues at the Neustadter Nature Center May 20th at 6pm with a presentation “Invasive Species Hot Topics 2026″. Join Valerie O’Connor, Invasive Species Coordinator from Glacierland RC&D, to learn more about invasive species hot topics in Manitowoc County. She will be going over prominent non-native species and how it affects our natural habitat throughout the county. Dive into identification, management efforts and current citizen science implementation to learn how you can further protect Wisconsin’s natural environments.

Help in the Gardens May 4th 9am-11am and May 18th 4pm-6pm. Roll up your sleeves and pitch in with our native garden spring cleanup. Garden tools provided or BYO. Make friends with the resident purple martins and osprey while enjoying the fresh air and views of Collins Marsh. Weather permitting- check our Facebook page for cancellations.

CEI Bird Club May 12th at 10am. Neustadter Nature Center . New members welcome. Check us out!

Marsh Trail Walk May 30th 9am-11am. Let’s see what each of our walking paths have to offer. Bring your binoculars, favorite nature apps and dress for the weather. Sturdy shoes, long pants and DEET repellent suggested to ward off ticks. This month- the Tower View Trail. Meet at the DNR parking lot at 1194 Collins Marsh Road.
