July Events

Although we may be missing the water in the Collins Marsh reservoir ( see DNR News Release), we still have plenty going on this month!

Fish Stocking and Regulations Presentation…July 15th 6:00pm Join us as Jason Breeggemann, Wisconsin DNR Fisheries Biologist, brings us up to date with what’s new in local fish stocking and fishing regulations.

Brat Fry at Piggly Wiggly in Kiel…..July 11th 10:00am-2:00pm Grab some lunch and support Collins Marsh activities. Food prepared and served by your CEI Board. Come on out and visit with us!

Help in the Gardens July 6th 9am-11am and July 20th 4pm-6pm. Perform general weeding, watering and relocate stray native plants all while enjoying the resident purple martins and osprey, fresh air and views of Collins Marsh. Garden tools provided or BYO

CEI Bird Club July 14th at 10am. Neustadter Nature Center . New members welcome. Check us out! 

Trail Maintenance July 18th 9am-1200pm Meet at the Nature Center. Weather permitting- check our Facebook page for cancellations

Marsh Trail Walk July 25th 9am-11am. We’ll continue visiting each of our walking paths and see what they have to offer.. Bring your binoculars, favorite nature apps and dress for the weather. Sturdy shoes, long pants and DEET repellent suggested to ward off ticks and mosquitoes. This month- a new Yet-to-be-Named Trail. Meet at the DNR parking lot at 18615 Hilltop Rd, Reedsville.
